Ilse Crawford never disappoints. Her long experience in the worlds of fashion, publishing and interior design gives her an extraordinary ability to identify with the spirit of the place in which she is intervening, imbuing every public space that she designs and furnishes with a special, cozy and very relaxed atmosphere. One of her most recent and successful works is Duddell’s in Hong Kong, a restaurant-gallery in the Shanghai Tang Mansion. Between travertine walls, ethnic furnishings, classical accents and pieces from contemporary collections, Studioilse has created an only apparently informal setting, where in reality attention has been lavished on the smallest detail, that offers a truly exclusive experience.
