Magis is always Magis, and doesn’t disappoint this year either thanks to a foray into aluminum and galvanized steel led by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. Theca is a storage unit available in various sizes, with doors and sides made of stamped aluminum (with a natural, black or anodized finish) and shelves made of wood, either cherry or black ash. A typically industrial product, reinvented for a domestic setting. Very beautiful. Alongside Theca, the Bouroullecs and Magis have come up with a new version of the Steelwood Chair, in galvanized steel and beech. A masterpiece. Even better than the original. Magis is at the Salone del Mobile, Hall 20, stands C15/D12.
