Black-and-white portraits of children illuminated by the light of a flash, always the same scene with the same wall in the background. Then a sequence of shots that seem to explore the world those same children live in, made up of discoveries, play, fright. Jacopo Benassi and Cristiano Guerri represent two sides of the same story, alternating fairytales and nightmares, as if Guerri’s visions were the memories of the children photographed by Benassi: two contrasting styles, two different narratives with the same protagonists.
