Frauscher 747 Mirage

Whizzing over the water with eyes closed. If it weren’t for the occasional spray of salty water on your face, the sensation would be just like that of driving a car on a sunny day. The new Frauscher 747 Mirage has lines that are reminiscent of the most aggressive designs for road vehicles, merit of the Austrian studio KISKA (known for its collaborations with Audi, Honda and KTM) which, with the technical assistance of Harry Miesbauer, has shown itself capable of modeling any form in terms of speed. The Frauscher 747 Mirage is a sharp-looking day cruiser with a hull measuring 7.47 m (24’ 6”) and an engine of up to 430 HP (from a minimum of 220, gasoline and diesel) and reach a speed of 60 knots. These high levels of performance are matched by a very practical layout. In the stern there is a sundeck with a gangway that allows people to get on and off the boat without treading on the cushions: a relaxation area that can be extended further by lowering the back of the stern couch located in the cockpit. Everything is designed to fit perfectly: the couch, for example, links up with another seat on the port side that can be turned into a chaise longue by moving the second steersman’s chair toward the bows. The prow is bare, but can be turned into another sundeck with a set of cushions stored under the floorboards.
