Jolan van der Wiel ha progettato questi sgabelli, Gravity Stool, utilizzando il magnetismo dei metalli e la forza di gravità. Spiega di essersi basato su di una proprietà esistente in natura per ottenere oggetti dalle forme imprecise (proprio come avviene in natura). È abbastanza sicuro che nessuno li copierà, dato che sarà difficile averne due uguali, ma i funghi, che crescono spontanei nei boschi, hanno forme molto più definite. Un’idea debole e malriuscita. Jolan van der Wiel has designed these Gravity Stools using the magnetism of metals and the force of gravity. He explains that they are based on an existing property of nature which has been used to obtain objects with imprecise forms (just as happens naturally). It is fairly sure that no one is going to copy them, as it would be difficult to get two the same, but mushrooms that grow spontaneously in the woods have much more precise shapes. A weak idea that didn’t turn out well. (via Mocoloco)
